"We go live in 3... 2... 1.." the camera man waved his finger toward Monsoon who held her mic tightly but calmly, one hand rested on her hip. She'd brought her report to the deeper areas of the city where people just seemed to have vanished from. Buildings had been highly quarantined and it was no longer a lively area. Even the cars seemed sad by the missing presence of life. She began her report with a solid attitude. "Hello citizens of all, I'm Monsoon, Dr. Eggman's trusted reporter, coming to you live from what of the most desolate areas of Robotropolis on EggmanTV. Many of you remember what this area was used for in the past, and I can assure you, it's nothing but a wasteland, now. There isn't a soul in sight and surely everyone has become bored by that, so it's without a doubt that I am reporting to all of you out there about recent ideas for the empty Robotropolis. Firstly, it may be torn down and built anew, but with different aspects. Perhaps a new area of worship to the doctor," she huffed a bit, snickering lightly before quickly returning to her report. "Anything is possible out here, but there have been some odd cases out here. There've been sightings of rogue machines around these parts specifically. The building behind me, as you can see, has been quarantined, and quite quarantined at that. There isn't a single sign of entrance on it from what we here can tell, but I can assure you, looking through those windows will show you it has been raided and trashed. The crew and I, who I see quivering in fear just across from me with their tails between their legs, will, of course, be mindful of the area and do our best to not be attacked. If we are, someone's taking the hits for me, after all. I'm sure most of you are wondering why I'm telling all of you this. It's quite simple. The roguebots have spread. Yes. 'Roguebots.' That's the name they've been given recently. Quite interesting. Be on the lookout, folks, these 'roguebots' have a profound interest in metal, possibly oil, and will stop at nothing to get what they want. If you're approached or captured.. Well, then, good luck to you with a suggestion of contacting the authorities.. Immediately. This is Monsoon the Mobula Ray signing off and wishing all of you a good day." Those were the last words of her report, and soon enough the camera was shut off. A slight grin came across Monsoon's face as she heard clinking in the background alley near the building she'd referred to. "Well, boys, we should be getting some more reports in soon enough, I'd say. For now, let's pack it up."

Okay, so here's my contest entry for

's Monsoon contest! : D Y'know, despite a sliiiiiight difficulties in drawing her, I still loved drawing Monsoon. c: I just hope I got her personality right in the writing portion DX It's hard to work with a character when you don't know anything about them, really. So, yeah, I enjoyed doing both portions, I like writing AND drawing, so thanks for viewing and comments welcome! : D
